All Wily frames are Born and Raised right here in Colorado _ we build each and every frame one by one in our own facility.... Boulder, Colorado. They all feature proper 29er and 650b geometry, gleaned from our extensive knowledge of building 29er & 650b frames and forks. We only use U.S. True Temper's incredibly strong and lightweight OX Platinum steel tubing and our own special blend of U.S. Seamless 3/2.5 Titanium.
We have two primary (29er and 650b) hardtail mountain bike frame designs: Our Classic Mountain and Singletrack Retro. Either can be built Singlespeed or Geared _ Custom geometry or Stock. Coming soon...... our Wily Canine pivotless full suspension ride. This new ride features your choice of 1.70" or 2.20" of pivoteless travel. Check back soon for details. |

Classic Mountain - Steel 29 or 650b Our bread and butter hardtail. Light, strong, can do a bit of everything. It has that nice supple ride that only a high quality steel frame can offer. The thin-walled True Temper seat stays provide just the right amount of give to take the edge off, and the chain stays are butted and tapered just right to provide great power transfer while providing excelent tracking. Can be built with either geared or sliding dropouts. Offered in five Stock Geometry sizes as well as Full Custom geometry Classic Mountain - Titanium 29 or 650b Handcrafted from our own special blend of U.S. 3/2.5 vr titanium - each and every frame is handcrafted in our own facility one by one . You choose....stock geometry or custom !
With both stock & custom geometry you get custom dropout options. Each specific size is available with either: Standard derailleur hanger dropouts or Sliding Dropouts that allow for single speed or geared use.
We also have an optional derailleur hanger package for the Sliding Dropouts that will allow you to also run traditional gears, while of course keeping the option of running a single speed or even a Rohloff hub, for the ultimate in versatility. Our Stock Geometry frames are designed to work with either a Wily suspension corrected rigid 29er fork, or an 80mm travel 29er suspension fork. All Stock Geometry frames come standard with integrated ISO disc brake mounts. However, linear brake mounts can be added upon request. Even with our Stock Geometry we still offering full custom paint from Spectrum Powder Works. You pick the color you want, and fancy paint jobs like panels and flames are still an option. So you can still give your Wily that individualized look.

Singletrack Retro - 2008 photo coming soon Ride some Singletrack in Style! Our 29er Retro is modeled after a 1936 Schwinn Cycleplane cruiser that your parents probably rode when they were kids. However, we modernized the design with full CUSTOM mountain geometry and lightweight tubing. This frame is all about fun, but it has a serious side that shows when you need it. Riding a ledge at Moab, dropping down a wet and rooty chute back East, quick trip to the local coffee shop; this frame can handle it and still look stylish doing it. Can be built as a singlespeed or geared. The Retro is available as a Stock or Full Custom geometry frame. Built with True Temper OX Platinum steel or "special" blend U.S. 3/2.5 vr Titanium.
Paint: Spectrum Powder Works creates all our gorgeous paint jobs. They specialize in low volume, high-quality finishes, and make sure that all Wily Cycles frames and forks have the smoothest, deepest, most vibrant, and durable finishes available. All our graphics are painted on, and a layer of clear coat is applied over everything. No cheap decals used here. Spectrum can also do a "painter's choice" if you want a unique paint design but want to leave the artistry to the experts. We can also sell you a complete bike with a custom parts spec, assembled by an expert mechanic. If we sell you a complete bicycle we can offer you a very competitive package price.
